India’s Moon Lander Misses Wake-Up Call After Successful Mission

The Chandrayaan-3 mission did what it set out to do, but its lander and rover could not be roused after entering the cold lunar darkness two weeks ago.

High fidelity

It might be the high fidelity of a good LP on a great turntable. It sounds just like the original recording. It might be the high fidelity of loyalty. No shopping around for a momentarily better deal. It might be the high fidelity of genre. This is just what you hoped it would be. And […]

While standing on one foot

Make it easy! they insist. One of the longest-running direct response ads of all time was for a piano playing course. For more than forty years, people mailed in money for a simple, fast way to impress their friends by playing the piano. They sold a lot of manuals, but I’m guessing not many people […]

Lightbulb I request help with the Hovercard code
Posted by: Bot - Yesterday, 02:03 AM - Forum: MyBB Technical Queries - No Replies

I request help with the Hovercard code

Hello to anyone who can read here and give me an answer. I need help from someone who can at least take a look and take the time to respond.
I would like to put a user hovercard, only in code, clean if possible, to avoid too much loading of the mod, and so on I was testing with version 1.8.36 of mybb and the hovercard mod gives me a syntax error and since I don't have that ease to fix that, I don't want to include myself in that. I would just like if someone had a code to put in a user card, that would be ideal. It doesn't matter if it doesn't have css, or anything like that, I can work...

This is the syntax error it gives me, let's see if someone can solve this, since if I ask the owner, he will have time to fix it, but if possible the code would be very useful to me.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in C:\xampp\xampplite\htdocs\forum\inc\plugins\hovercards.php on line 37
Oh, maybe if there is a tutorial on how to make one here on this site, it would also help me a lot. In advance, thank you for taking the time to read.

I mean that it looks like this, in this image that I took from the user posbit, it looks like it was a statistic in the index. from the forum, as shown in the 2nd photo.

Lightbulb Data too long for column 'smtperror'
Posted by: Bot - Yesterday, 02:03 AM - Forum: MyBB Technical Queries - No Replies

Data too long for column 'smtperror'

Running:

  • MyBB 1.8.36
  • PHP 7.4.33
  • MySQLi 8.0.34

Error:

The SQL error occurs when the SMTP server rejects the provided password and the error message that is logged (in the System Email Log) is too long for the current column. I suggest increasing smtperror column in the mybb_mailerrors table from VARCHAR(200) to VARCHAR(300).

When using the Gmail SMTP server for example, the following error message was provided which is 261 characters, 61 characters longer than the column allows.
