The grid of inquiry

Expertise and firmly held beliefs don’t always go together. Here’s a simple XY grid to help us choose where to sit at whatever table we’re invited to: Plenty of well-trained professionals have earned the right to have strongly held beliefs. These convictions save them time and error, particularly if the world is stable. Surgeons, jugglers […]

Some Older Women Need Extra Breast Scans. Why Won’t Medicare Pay?

Mammography can miss tumors in women with dense breasts, so their doctors often include ultrasound or M.R.I. scans. Patients often wind up paying the bill.

Lightbulb Mint Shop Not Letting Me Set Up Item Types

Mint Shop Not Letting Me Set Up Item Types

My mint + mint shop installation seems to be installed correctly on this test site I've created. Here.

However, when I try to create "item types", there is no form for entry like there was with the item category and inventory type, and this is keeping me from being able to create items for the shop.

Which is keeping me from being able to test the plugin to see if I'd like to use it.

The "mint currency" at this url allows me to choose a person, enter a number, but when I hit "submit", it takes me to a blank page and does nothing.

HTTP 500 Error problem

Hello! First of all, I'm sorry for my bad English. I recently decided to set up a forum site on behalf of a community. I was using a different software before mybb and decided to switch to mybb due to some problems in the software. I'm getting error 500. How can I fix this? thank you in advance

Lightbulb Is MyBB Dead?

Is MyBB Dead?

Hi,

I recently installed a MyBB from Softaculous because I wanted to get a board going again and while trying to look for themes I was disappointed with the options available to me. I actually ended up finding some XenForo themes I really liked, but I wondered why doesn't MyBB have that type of development behind it. I don't really want XF.

So, I decided to join the forums and look around and I found quite a few threads complaining about the lack of responsive themes, as well as many about how 1.9 has been promised for.. a very long time.

I like a lot of things about MyBB and I'd like to stick with it, but I'd also like to know before I invest the time and effort in it, is it.. okay?

Is it going to continue at least getting security and maintenance updates?

Thanks for your time.

Forum Style Broke For Me and Possibly Other Admins Works Fine For Normal Users

So, I am having a problem on one of my forums only on my account (at least for admins, haven’t tested another account) where replies are not showing correctly and I can’t view other replies only one that shows up when you view the lastest post for the thread is that reply. No other replies or the thread itself doesn’t show. It’s very confusing never seen this before and it’s not a plugin or theme issues as I tried to disable plugins and used the default them but nothing. I created 2 alt accounts as members to test and it works fine so interesting.

I am now having a problem with the layout in the threads and don't know whats causing it. Any help will be welcomed.

Still having this problem and I just tested it by giving an alt account admin and the website loads fine and its not a plugging problem as I disabled all plugins but nothing. It's on my account that is having this problem.
